Pray for The Country Please

My hope for the country falls every day, and NO, it ain't the COVID-19, which IMO is a narrative they will make "fit the fear." The left wants this fear until the election and in the left's hope an inauguration of another President -- at which time, will magically be nothing more than the FLU. Just imagine if we tracked FLU numbers daily, logging death of anyone with underlying issues that died after getting the FLU to "FLU caused death." Just commonly following, there were 80,000 death in 2018 (what if we were tracking the same as the COVID-19, think for a minute, what if we were?)

Now back to my REAL concern -- STUPIDITY!

Protesters tore down a statue of Grant claiming "slave owner"! Really, was he now? Just off the top of my head, from history studies decades ago ---

  1. Was gifted a slave; however, since he disagreed with the notation, Grant freed the slave within a year.
  2. Known for prosecuting KKK
  3. Known for pushing enforcement acts making it illegal to interfere with registration and voting for African Americans
  4. Known for placing African American in governmental roles (some say prominent governmental roles, I will let you decide that)

It's hard to tell what the protesters are protesting, and I am confident they don't have a clue at all. However, the left's decades-old move taking over education, got them something, stupid people. Goes well beyond ignorance and not knowing, it is plum dumb!

Stupid voters and an easily manipulated population may have been their goal; however, it appears the leaders of the left may have lost the narrative in the manipulation to the detriment of all. Their purpose may have been to "beat the right"; however, they created a populace well on the way to killing the country and everything for which it stood.

Yes, there are "bad things" in American history, which it learned from; however, one must know the history. If one knew history, one would know the underlying goal of these protesters is a form of government that makes America's bad history appear saintly in contrast.

Pray for our country, please!

Peer Pressure - A Reason!

We teach and hope our children learn how not to succumb to peer pressure; however, as adults, many depend on peer pressure wrapped in a veil of “caring” or “doing right.” It is the same trait we teach and hope our children can withstand, verbal, and mental abuse to get one to participate or agree with something they feel or know is wrong.

  • Don’t agree with someone of a different ethnicity; you are a - RACIST (your view now null and void)

  • Don’t agree with someone of a different sex; you are a - SEXIST (your view now null and void)

  • Don’t agree with an action or groupthink; you are - SELFISH (your view now null and void)

  • Don’t agree with partial facts or half the truths to make a point; you are - STUPID or IGNORANT (your view now null and void)

If you care, you can avoid these tags one of two ways, blindly and/or mindlessly agree and follow, or ignore/avoid the situation(s) or topic(s) entirely.

Should those who employ this tactic realize people they believed they had hushed up, may not have been ignoring the issues but waiting,, they might recognize an answer to a question been asked for years, how Trump won!

COVID-19 Class System Created

I have returned, no fines, not tickets; however, as I watched MANY people out on this beautiful day, I came to a realization.

People who truly believe this is apocalyptic, genuinely thinking removal of civil liberties and freedoms are justified have deemed me and my team(s) expendable, as well as every other worker defined as essential.

"The world is too dangerous for us, but you, you go out there and serve us."

True believers of the doomsday sayer(s) have created new classes in a way -- Those worthy of living and those who can die providing them services, while they depend on the governing body.

Hmm, not sure how I feel about this; however, we are humans, and it seems to be our way throughout history. Suppose that is why a good writer can always make a buck or two off an excellent dystopian novel ... after all, there is a little human truth in there.

Just food for thought.

COVID-19 Thoughts (4 Weeks Plus into "Sheltering In")

First, we have the continued changing (guessing) of how to deal with this (I believe the photo demonstrates that)!

Second, and still not confirmed (nor do I believe ever will be), who/what is essential persons/businesses? Who determines that? I think this falls under "fair" and "fair" is an unattainable goal as every person has a different version of fairness!

Then there is clickbait to instill fear of law enforcement to ensure you comply out of fear. Note the second line of the article, "Jeremial Lee is charged with weapon and drug possession ..."

The news report (WREG 3 Memphis)

Yes, the real reason the police arrested him or had any idea to talk with him is that he was at a party -- NOT, they were responding to "shots fired"!

—-

Then there is the "real" enforcement as government officals flex their political power (unconstitunally). Assaulting our freedoms with an emphasis on Christian Churches Easter weekend, claiming they "care about you".

Every single right taken claiming to be protecting brings me closer to regretting I ever volunteered to protect those rights!

With freedom comes personal responsibility, and if we have failed to teach our younger adults and are not teaching our children that all is sadly lost!

As we move forward, my feelings earlier this week: Death is unfortunate; however, a part of life and staying healthy is part of one's responsibility, not a dictatorial government (an argument against socialized healthcare BTW).

I was concerned we are pushing to make "Hunger Games" or the "Divergent" books a reality. Mindless compliance out of fear is still only mindless - George Orwell might have only missed it by 36 years.

Today I see articles like this with comments like:

to include victims presumed to have perished from the disease but never tested.

Is this a case of “the ends justify the means.”

A friend reminded me of what Germans were told as laws were enforced while Adolph was caring for the country … Es ist fur lhre Sicherheit = It is for your safety.

Can someone please share when in history instilling fear in the population, and their unquestioning compliance has ever equaled a good thing. When has history looked back at such an event and said: “they did a great job” — I will wait. It might be a long wait because if it ever happened, there would be no need to drum up fear. After all, history would tell us it was a good thing for the next time around.

One other question, please share when at best guessing and estimating and at worst lying lead to anything good?

—-

The above information does beg the question, who else is lying?

If the answer to that question is we don't know, or probably others, then is data we are making our decisions on (or being scared of) useful? Then I have to ask who faked the number(s), or chose to falsify them? Was it medical professionals, medical administrators, politicians, or all -- That answer SHOULD determine how and whom we trust when it comes to believing "Es ist fur lhre Sicherheit = It is for your safety."!

I believe I have made my stance clear, with all caution and concern I can muster I am for getting on with living and not keen on waiting on dying. If others deem this view selfish, so be it, I bodily go where more exceptional people than I went before in the name of freedom.

I know from my youth within the military to may progression to senior adulthood (though not all the way there yet), I have never known the paradigm of "ends justifying the means" being a sound strategy. I cannot remember anyone except the executor of such a policy looking back on it as the right decision or course of action.

Impeachment Moving Forward - More Thoughts

What this impeachment should show all of us ... liberal - conservative - democrat - republican - independent, is that we have professional politicians., NOT representation of the the population.

EVEN IF YOU DISAGREE with the populous, so what! This country WAS NOT set on what YOU WANT, or what “we are smarter than them” THINKS is best — It was set on populous, hence the greatness of the country over history.

HISTORY, something that we never learn from shows what happens when the self proclaimed “smarter” folks decide what the majority need or “really want” ... “great” societies fell and we are headed in that direction all for what the self wants instead of what the majority wants.

If we were concerned about the majority, as we should be, where would these topics be?

  • Abortion

  • Capital punishment

  • Immigration

REALLY, ask yourself not what YOU want but where would these topics be if the majority had their say — Then let’s put it on the ballot and see.

I will let those that don’t know history, having been stupifide intentionally and institutionally through education, know. Totalitarian governments gain power by removing the power from the people and centralizing the power to a select group or individual ... using what “think for yourself” portion of your brains remains — What political ideas moves you/us in that direction and which does not?

Thoughts on The Impeachment Process of Donald Trump!

I have listened to years of "going to get him," and have seen nothing! I have seen years spent not caring for constituents but "getting him."

I have hoped for a "revival"; however, none comes.

People believe these politicians, who have put governing on hold, to "get him," actually will "help" them - Amazing!

Did I vote for Donald Trump, yes, to expose what he is exposing -- Along with improving the economy, which he has done, but our population is too stupid or "dumbed down" or selfish to realize. But I have come to an understanding we have "spoiled rich kids" governing us!

You know the type, used to getting their way, and screw what's right.

Surprising, we as millions-strong deal with it. Securing academia was a wise move for the liberal, and it did the job!

Special Months & Exclusion?

At risk, of being called a racist, sexist, hatemonger - I would like someone to take a stab at a rational explanation to why:

  • Black History Month isn't racist when any who wanted a White History month would be tagged a racist
  • Women History Month isn't sexist but no Male/Man History month, correct it would be sexist -- Explain, please
  • LGBT Pride Month; yet not seeing a Heterosexual Month, oh that would be homophobic-- please another opportunity to explain
  • LGBT History Month (yes LGBT get 2 calls outs), same as above -- Explain, please
  • There is a special African-American Music appreciation month, other musicians I suppose as simply useless

Please take a shot at the explanation; however, let me explain my point.

WHY do we have to have "special" months and recognition if the goal is equality and/or sameness -- Hard to have when we call the differences out nearly every single month while excluding some. Exclusion being a way to point out differences with one or a group believing the differences are lesser than or better than another.

Just doesn't seem the actions correspond with the stated goal; in fact, these actions contradict the stated purpose.

FREE BACON ... You Don't Have to Bring it Home

One of the most violent and cash poor citys in America is going to trial giving everyone a paycheck wheather they work are not.

Never mind that the idea has failed ... Canada and Finland ... they are going to give it a go!

Who do you think is paying for it? Those that have jobs -- The new American Dream, work hard pay the goverment more or don't work having no accoutability, no responsiblity, and you recieve your reward -- Sounds like a winner - NOT!

2-Factor — And, Been Away Awhile

Well ... been a long time! I see my last post was like one and half years ago -- note to self, must do better!.

What brought me here was the notice of 2-factor authentication ... I like this but was curious what apps to you use?

Currently I am using AUTHY.

Been to Long!

Been sometime since I have posted anyting to this blog.... coming up on 2017 I suppose I need to make the effort to post whether anyone is reading or not.

With Thanksgiving had just past, I suppose it is something to be thankful for, having the freedom to express ones thoughts and opinions!

I will be back more frequently.

iOS 8 Thoughts

Well, it has been a few weeks with iOS 8 and I must admit this is the biggest improvement to the operating system since I made the leap to the iOS/Apple world in 2011.

Sure there are issues and some places I would like to see more freedom; however, I can handle both my personal and professional life through either of my iOS devices... and it will only get better with the release of Yosemite for my MacBook and iMac.

...and still there are less reboots and restarts with my Apple devices then any PC or Android device I owned/used previously or currently!

Observations

I decided to take a break and grab myself a 2 pump caramel, 2 pump vanilla, w/ an extra shot and watch the people in my usual Starbucks. What I saw, was America...

I heard one conversation involving preparation for a Sunday school class at a local Southern Baptist Church - Another conversation was over head about gay rights involving persons I presume were gay...

One of the males from the gay rights group, dropped their wallet which was picked up and handed him by one of the "conservative Christians"... not a big deal, right.

Well, if either group had been a bit more observant they would have known that the other group, Christian or not, had some very unpleasant things to say about those from the other group (i.e. "never give them the time of day," "wouldn't bother to talk to them,,," etc.)... They didn't make the comments about people present, just generalized statements.

Now let's go back to the incident. After the wallet was retrieved and returned some from one group started up a ten minute conversation with some from the other. It was a pleasant conversation about family, the holidays, shopping, etc., at no time did their strong beliefs and differences ever enter into the conversation - They went their way having had a pleasant encounter with the hated opposition... but neither group took an opportunity to sway the opposing group - Let's hope the act of picking up and returning the wallet was enough.

The morale, generalizations are bull and in my opinion never accurate, when talking about our beliefs we need to stop using generalizations and stereotypes - Instead say what we mean and what we know and try to live life as we say we believe. In reality, the gentlemen that retrieved and returned the wallet lived his beliefs but not the words he was saying just ninety-seconds earlier - Thank GOD he wasn't observant or he wouldn't have "given the time of day" and what kind of example would that have been?

Happy Thanksgiving

I wish all a Happy Thanksgiving. My deepest wish is that all have something to be thankful for, and I believe all Americans do.

Like last year I want to share George Washington's 1789 Thanksgiving proclamation.

WHEREAS, It is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favor;

WHEREAS, Both the houses of Congress have, by their joint committee, requested me "to recommend to the people of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer, to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many and signal favors of Almighty God, especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness:"

Now, therefore, I do recommend and assign Thursday, the 26th day of November next, to be devoted by the people of these States to the service of that great and glorious Being who is the beneficent author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be; that we may then all unite in rendering unto Him our sincere and humble thanks for His kind care and protection of the people of this country previous to their becoming a nation; for the signal and manifold mercies and the favorable interpositions of His providence in the course and conclusion of the late war; for the great degree of tranquility, union, and plenty which we have since enjoyed; for the peaceable and rational manner in which we have been enable to establish constitutions of government for our safety and happiness, and particularly the national one now lately instituted' for the civil and religious liberty with which we are blessed, and the means we have of acquiring and diffusing useful knowledge; and, in general, for all the great and various favors which He has been pleased to confer upon us.

And also that we may then unite in most humbly offering our prayers and supplications to the great Lord and Ruler of Nations and beseech Him to pardon our national and other transgressions; to enable us all, whether in public or private stations, to perform our several and relative duties properly and punctually; to render our National Government a blessing to all the people by constantly being a Government of wise, just, and constitutional laws, discreetly and faithfully executed and obeyed; to protect and guide all sovereigns and nations (especially such as have show kindness to us), and to bless them with good governments, peace, and concord; to promote the knowledge and practice of true religion and virtue, and the increase of science among them and us; and, generally to grant unto all mankind such a degree of temporal prosperity as He alone knows to be best.

--George Washington - October 3, 1789

Responsible is That Good or Bad

Held responsible, is that a bad thing? How was the question posed?

  • Alvin York was responsible for saving hundreds possibly thousands and the capture of hundreds of enemy soldiers in WW I!
  • Hitler was responsible for atrocities to numerous to mention!

So, responsible - How do the majority hold them responsible in a good light or bad, that is a big portion of the information not being shared.

Something that is telling - The poll really consisted of the uninformed to uninterested … and excerpt:

And much of the country draws a blank on Republican Ted Cruz of Texas despite his 21-hour Senate speech
