Logitech K811 (Easy Switch) Keyboard

About a month ago I purchased a Logitech K811 (Easy Switch) Keyboard and thought I would share my thoughts.

I have configured the keyboard to work with my iMac, MacBook, and iPad... you can configure the keyboard for three (3) devices (e.g. iPad, iPhone, Apple TV, iMac, MacBook, multiple of either device)...

Anyway this allows me the ability to input information on any of these devices with a push of a button - There is very little trade off in functionality between the "Apple" keyboard and the Logitech...

The only major trade off is the default function of FN keys, and the fact my Palua app can no long change the "functions" of the FN keys based on the current active window. I don't view this as a deficiency as much as a minor inconvenience which time and "habit" will erase.

I highly recommend this keyboard for anyone who has multiple device and would enjoy the ability input information without using multiple different keyboards or methods for each device.

The K811 is backlite (ala MacBook Pro built in keyboard) and rechargeable (10-days with backlight on - 12 months with it off)... you can use the keyboard while recharging (3-hour recharge time). The price is $99; however, you can find it on "special" if you look and are patient.

If you do get it, let me know your thoughts.
